Will I make $65,000 from $100?+
Here's the honest truth: the strategy did it once, on a verified 12-month sample of XAUUSD data, with an 8% risk setting. That's not fiction — it's in the report. So yes, the math has been proven. Can you replicate it? That depends on three things: your broker spreads (tighter = better), your discipline to let the EA work without interfering, and the risk percent you choose. Some of our users run aggressive 5–8% risk and chase the curve. Others run conservative 2% and compound steadily into five-figure accounts over 6–12 months. What broker and account size do you recommend?+
Any ECN broker offering XAUUSD with tight spreads (under 30 cents). The backtest ran on PlexyTrade with a 20-pip spread setting, so your real-world performance will be similar or better on tighter-spread brokers. Minimum funded account: $500 to give the position sizing room to breathe at 2% risk.
Does it work on prop firm accounts?+
Yes — but adjust the risk percent to suit the firm's drawdown rules. For FTMO/MyForexFunds-style 5% daily drawdown rules, run at 1% per trade with the daily loss circuit-breaker enabled. We provide a prop-firm preset .set file with the Lifetime tier.
Why XAUUSD only?+
Because that's what it was engineered for. Every parameter — the ATR multipliers, the session hours, the EMA stack, the RSI thresholds — was optimized against gold's specific volatility signature. Could you force it onto EURUSD? Yes. Would it perform? Probably not. We're not here to sell you a "works on everything" lie.
What's the real drawdown risk?+
Maximal drawdown in the test was $14,053.89 (20.18%) at the aggressive 8% risk setting. At a 2% risk setting, you'd expect roughly 5–6% account drawdown in a similar adverse stretch. Max consecutive losses was 6 trades. Plan for losing streaks. They happen. The math still works over the sample.
